This role requires an experienced sales leader to build a practice of consultative/ solutions sellers across the whole portfolio of offerings. The candidate would need to be able to rapidly define and refine his/her sales strategy to drive sales across both Corporate, Government & SME sectors and implement the requisite sales governance to ensure high performance versus sales KPIs.

The candidate should have the ability to understand and solve business issues for customers across major industry verticals as the foundation for on-going strategic relationships. The role requires the ability to operate/ leverage across a matrix of internal stakeholders and customer stakeholders. The candidate should be able to lead his/her team to conceptualize & shape winning offers, both commercially and technically that address customer’s pain-points and also deliver significant benefits/ value to the customer.

What are you accountable for:

Lead & develop a high performing team of sales specialists to build a strong sales funnel of significant deals in accordance with financial KPIs, including increasing awareness of our capability’s via marquee deals
Liaising with other internal sales teams (e.g. Corporate Account Managers) to identify and shape transformational conversation with key customer C-suite stakeholders
Establishing and maintaining key relationships at senior levels within customer organisations to develop & close deals
Generate and share insights from customer engagement sessions to distil customer business needs, strategize on potential opportunities/offerings and collaborate with Product teams to develop compelling client propositions.
Formulating, implementing and managing strategic engagement plans for each opportunity including deal structuring ideas and proposal storylines/pitches for syndication across internal stakeholders
Shaping & negotiating major complex deals – including commercial & technical strategy & offers
Creating a collaborative culture across a complex matrix environment to establish balance of solution and commercial outcome both internally and with customers
Being accountable for deal Business Cases for C-Level internal approvals
Implementing strong sales governance, including end to end opportunity management to ensure sales KPIs are achieved
Create and manage a digital knowledge repository for the strategic deals portfolio and competitor intelligence on behalf of business unit

What do you need to have for this role:

Approximately 15 years of experience in enterprise ICT Sales, in areas such as Digital/IT solutions, Networking, Managed Services, IOT, Cloud, Business Development, Professional services/ consultancy or equivalent
Strong leadership skills (internal)ability to inspire, motivate and steer the sales division to ensure optimal performance
Strong leadership skills (external)ability to collaborate across industry sectors and solution offerings to win deals
Experienced in high quality, professional engagement with senior stakeholders in terms of interpersonal & presentation skills with an appropriate mix of confidence and humility
Ability to think out-of-box, identify unsaid customer needs and generate new business opportunities
Ability to interact with and positively influence customer decision making executives across levelsC-suite Executives, Business Heads leaders, VP/Directors etc.
Ability to engage consultatively on innovation, industry transformation trends, potential client initiatives and supporting solutions.
Creativity to be able to develop innovative solutions, innovative business and commercial models, innovative partnerships
Solid core consulting skills to develop strategic, compelling customer propositions and a track record of successful client delivery including strong project management experience with cross-functional teams
Experience in developing complex customer solutions across product portfolios, technology, industry verticals etc.
Experience in IT /technology & business advisory/ consultancy and project execution & delivery across major industry verticals
Ability to develop creative commercial models, business cases to meet customer needs and generate business value (e.g. outcome based/success based charging)
Experience in establishing and maintaining great network and connections to develop excellent working relations with all stakeholders
Technical thought leadership/ Industry ambassador experience in one or more technology areas such as Cloud, Networking, IOT, security, application development, infrastructure architecture, big data analytics etc.
Entrepreneurial spirit to successfully lead, drive and grow Enterprise Practices businesses
