CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Location: Port Klang, Selangor, Malaysia

Industry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics

About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join our operations team in Port Klang. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end customer service for import and export shipments via sea and air, ensuring smooth documentation, timely communication, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate import and export shipments, including sea freight (FCL/LCL) and air freight operations

Prepare and issue booking confirmations to customers and liners/airlines in a timely manner

Proactively follow up on shipment status with carriers and provide accurate updates to customers

Prepare House Bills of Lading (HBL) in accordance with shipping and customer requirements

Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an added advantage

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
