Responsibilities :

● Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for female patients.

● Manage antenatal care, monitor pregnancy progress, and provide medical advice throughout pregnancy.

● Perform women’s health assessments, including reproductive health screenings and preventive care.

● Conduct ultrasound examinations and interpret findings related to pregnancy and gynaecological conditions.

● Diagnose and manage common women’s health conditions including menstrual disorders, infertility issues, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and menopause-related concerns.

● Provide counselling and guidance on family planning, contraception, fertility, and reproductive health.

● Perform relevant clinical procedures such as Pap smear, pelvic examinations, and other gynaecological assessments.

● Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient conditions, medical history, and healthcare needs.

● Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations.

● Educate patients on preventive healthcare, lifestyle management, and women’s wellness.

● Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care delivery.

● Refer patients to hospitals or relevant specialists when advanced treatment or surgical intervention is required.

● Stay updated with the latest medical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and advancements in women’s healthcare.

Requirements :

● Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

● Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).

● Possess valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).

● Recognized specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

● Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an O&G Specialist is preferred.

● Strong clinical knowledge in obstetrics, gynaecology, and women’s healthcare.

● Excellent communication and patient counselling skills.

● Compassionate, ethical, and patient-focused approach.

● Strong diagnostic and decision-making abilities.

● Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

● Experience in private healthcare, specialist clinics, or women’s health centres.

● Experience managing antenatal and postnatal patients.

● Skilled in performing women’s health screenings and ultrasound procedures.

● Strong ability to build patient trust and long-term healthcare relationships.
