The incumbent will have a crucial role in ensuring that a hospital or healthcare facility functions efficiently and smoothly.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee the daily operations of the billing department
• Ensure accurate coding and billing for all medical services
• Monitor and manage the claims submission process
• Identify and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
• Review and authorize the processing of insurance claims
• Coordinate communication between healthcare providers and insurance companies
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures
• Train and supervise billing staff to enhance performance
• Analyze billing data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Manage accounts receivable and collections efforts
• Provide support during internal and external audits
• Keep abreast of changes in healthcare billing regulations
• Facilitate resolution of patient inquiries related to billing
• Prepare reports on billing performance and financial metrics

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
• Proven experience in medical billing and coding
• Knowledge of billing software and electronic health record systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with healthcare compliance regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze financial reports and datat
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and billing software

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
