SONT Photonics Sdn. Bhd. Job Vacancies September 2026

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize production processes to achieve product quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Monitor process performance, analyze data, and implement improvements and CAPA actions.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and control plans.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure readiness for mass production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process flow and resolve issues.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and waste.
• Train and guide production staff on new processes, tools, and work methods.
• Perform other duties or ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment (fresh graduates with strong technical skills and interest are also encouraged to apply).
• Knowledge of process improvement tools such as SPC, FMEA, DOE, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Experience with statistical analysis and process optimization will be an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process flow diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Basic listening and speaking proficiency in Mandarin is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,800.00 per month
