As a General Wireline Field Operator, you will be responsible for performing all pre-job duties, well-site operations and post-job duties of Wireline Services offered by Baker Hughes, at the client wellsite. You will support the Wireline Services Field Operations Division.

As a General Wireline Field Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Safely delivering an array wireline services in an offshore environment, under the supervision of a Wireline Engineer and Wireline Crew chief
• Manage spares and offshore inventory
• Be directly responsible for the safe operation of Wireline Surface pressure control equipment
• Be competent to operate a wireline hoist unit, to safely deploy a vast array of services in and out of the wellbore
• Support the safe deployment of ballistic operations
• Performing tool maintenance and job site supervision of wireline operators
• Being responsible for proper job-related paperwork and other records for self and assigned crew

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a College Diploma of Engineering/Technical background
• Have 5+ years of experience in Wireline Services
• Have experience of working in an offshore field environment.
• Have previous wireline experience with Baker Hughes
• Show expertise in cased-hole wireline logging operations
• Be able to mobilize for ad-hoc trips offshore as required
• Be able to perform additional work-scopes tasks as required to assist your team and customers daily operations
