Jawatan Kosong Accounts Executive in Kuantan

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments and collections, and providing management with reliable financial information for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and issue invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and credit/debit notes.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and collections, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Process supplier invoices and arrange payments according to agreed credit terms.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
• Assist in preparing monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and other management reports.
• Monitor company cash flow and highlight potential cash-flow issues to management.
• Assist with monthly closing and year-end audit preparation.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and other external parties when required.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for better cost control.
• Assist management in analysing financial performance and identifying areas for cost savings and improved profitability.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with applicable Malaysian accounting and tax requirements.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of full-set accounting is an advantage.
• Experience with accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount, UBS or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Mature, trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information.
• Experience in an SME or trading/manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
