This role supports dentists during clinical procedures, maintains a clean and efficient treatment environment, and helps ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients. You will work closely with dentists and the front desk team to support safe, efficient, and professional treatment delivery. POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible to support dentists in delivering quality patient care and ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic. This role involves assisting during dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms and instruments, maintaining basic patient records, and supporting cleanliness and hygiene standards within the clinic. It also plays a key role in providing a comfortable and positive experience for patients, while working closely with dentists and team members to ensure efficient and well-organised clinical operations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Chairside Assistance & Clinical Support

• Assist dentists during treatments to ensure smooth procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before each patient.
• Support dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.

2. Cleaning, Sterilisation & Clinic Hygiene

• Clean and disinfect treatment rooms and equipment before and after each patient.
• Assist in basic sterilisation and proper handling of dental instruments.
• Dispose of clinical waste according to clinic guidelines.

3. Patient Support & Basic Administration

• Prepare patients before treatment and provide basic guidance when needed.
• Assist in updating patient records in the clinic system.
• Help ensure a pleasant and professional patient experience.

4. Stock & Materials Handling

• Assist in monitoring and organising dental supplies.
• Inform the team when stock is running low.

5. Daily Clinic Operations

• Assist in opening and closing the clinic including setup and cleaning.
• Ensure treatment areas are clean, organised, and ready for use.
• Report any equipment issues or faults to the supervisor.

6. Teamwork & General Duties

• Work closely with dentists and team members to support daily operations.
• Follow clinic procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by management when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification
• No prior working experience required, training will be provided
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn clinic systems (e.g., DocAssist)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Malay; additional languages will be an added advantage
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to handle patients with care, professionalism, and sensitivity
• A good team player who works well with dentists and colleagues
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical support
• Willing to work weekends and shifts as required
• Prior experience in a dental clinic or healthcare is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
