Jawatan Kosong Senior Staff Nurse in Cheras Overview To provide quality nursing care and support the delivery of safe, personalised, and compassionate care to residents while coordinating daily nursing activities and supporting the care team.

THE JOBSCOPE

• Provide nursing care according to residents’ individual care needs.
• Monitor residents’ health condition and report any changes promptly.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct regular health assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing and medical records.
• Coordinate with doctors, caregivers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with medical procedures, consultations, and follow-up care.
• Provide guidance and support to Staff Nurses and care team members.
• Ensure proper handover of residents’ condition and care requirements between shifts.
• Educate residents and families on medication, treatment, and general health care.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and urgent situations.
• Ensure infection control, hygiene, and safety procedures are followed.
• Monitor medical supplies, equipment, and medication stocks.
• Communicate with families regarding residents’ care and condition when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with nursing standards and organisational policies.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Nurse Manager or management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Good clinical knowledge and nursing skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lead and guide junior nursing staff.
• Responsible, caring, and patient-focused.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
