About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Production Manager to join our dynamic team at By Chefiza Sdn Bhd. As our Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our products. This is a full-time position based in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing production plans and strategies to meet business objectives and customer demands
• Managing and coordinating the day-to-day production activities, including resource allocation, workflow optimisation, and quality control
• Continuously monitoring and analysing production performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations
• Identifying and addressing production bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Providing training and guidance to production team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Reporting on production metrics and KPIs to senior management, and contributing to strategic decision-making

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and control methodologies, as well as lean manufacturing principles
• Proficient in interpreting and utilising production data to drive continuous improvement
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
