Jawatan Kosong School Nurse / Medical Assistant in Seremban

• Full-time position with an on-site presence required for 7 days ON and 7 days OFF rotation.
• Accommodation and 3 times a day meals will be provided during duty periods.
• Responsible for overseeing the operation of the In-house Clinic at SOKA International School Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
• Ensure implementation of necessary safety measures and actions in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations to maintain optimal safety and health standards.
• Provide clinically effective and high-quality nursing care to school and boarding pupils, along with first aid services for all community members.
• Assess, evaluate, and implement in-patient care for pupils upon arrival at the In-house Clinic.
• Administer necessary wound care and other treatment options as required.
• Regularly collect pertinent student medical information and vital health data, ensuring updates are made to students' personal files.
• Collaborate with external parties such as state/district MOH clinics for scheduled vaccinations and health talks.
• Aid in replenishing school first aid kits.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, swiftly assessing student/patient conditions and making crucial care decisions.
• Provide emergency care for injured students at the scene while awaiting ambulance arrival.
• Initiate continuous improvement initiatives to identify accident causes and develop preventive action plans.
• Exhibit exceptional patient service skills, with a focus on prioritizing student well-being.
• Attend to students requiring medical attention within the school premises.
• Maintain communication with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding affected students.
• Conduct follow-up sessions for affected students and generate comprehensive reports for each medical issue encountered, ensuring updated individual care plans are communicated to teachers.
• Maintain accurate medical histories for all students in their personal files, as needed.
• Accompanying them to the clinic when necessary.
• Assist the head nurse in the day-to-day functioning of the clinic.

REQUIRMENT

Education :

• Candidates must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Nursing/ Medical Assistant with related professional experience in the international school, Hospital or Industrial environment. Mandatory must be in registered Nursing Board or Medical Assistant Board.

Experience :

• Minimum 1 years clinical experience
• Fresh Graduates encourage to apply

Knowledge, Skills & Ability:

• Must have transportation.
• Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work under pressure which may be present in this work environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Good organization skills to maintain good working environment for all staff and teachers.
• Thorough understanding on students psychological needs.
• Able to express sympathy and empathy towards the students/clients.
