Pharmacy Assistant/Sales Assistant

We are a new generation healthcare startup company with a premium retail pharmacy front based in Kuching, Sarawak that offers its employees ample on-the-job trainings, and a welcoming work environment.

The Company: Medwell Pharmacy is a pharmacy startup led by two US-trained pharmacists with a brand-new concept as opposed to traditional retail pharmacies. Medwell is known for its professionalism and personalized care that we strive to provide for all our customers.

The Position: We’re looking for Sales Assistants and Pharmacy Assistants (Diploma in Pharmacy). The pay range we’re offering starts at RM1,600.

• We are looking for individuals who are motivated to grow with our team of passionate and highly motivated professionals who empower and challenge each other to improve every day.

Requirements:

• SPM or any equivalent certificate or higher education (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply); Diploma in Pharmacy for Pharmacy Assistant preferred
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
• Must be willing to cover all outlets according to assignment in schedule
• Computer literature

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and upkeep the appearance, organization, and ambience of the prescription room
• Maintain and upkeep appearance and ambience of the retail space
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Assist in receiving stocks and stock management
• Carry out cashier duties on days assigned
• Carry out duties of sales assistant when cashier duties are not immediate
• Be aware of possible shoplifter and to ensure that all merchandise is paid before being taken out of the shop
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of counters and shelves
• Perform any other job assignments/duties assigned by line managers as required

The Location: Milan Square, Tabuan Jaya, Kuching.
