Jawatan Kosong CLINIC ASSISTANT in Kuantan

Job Summary:

A Clinic Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of a healthcare clinic by providing administrative and clinical assistance. They are responsible for ensuring patients receive excellent care by managing appointments, maintaining patient records, assisting healthcare professionals, and ensuring the clinic is well-organized and clean.

Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Care and Assistance:

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Assist patients with paperwork, registration, and insurance claims.
• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for examinations.
• Provide basic patient care, such as checking vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) under the supervision of a nurse or physician.
• Answer patient inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email.

2. Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.
• Manage clinic correspondence (emails, letters, faxes).
• Handle billing and insurance claim processes.
• Order and manage supplies and equipment inventory.
• Handle front desk responsibilities, including managing phone lines, emails, and patient check-in/check-out.

3. Clinical Support:

• Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist physicians and nurses during patient examinations and procedures as needed.
• Administer basic tests and measurements, such as taking blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Help with sterilizing and maintaining medical instruments and equipment.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens (blood, urine) for processing if required.

4. Compliance and Safety:

• Follow all clinic protocols and procedures to maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Ensure that the clinic is compliant with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:
