Jawatan Kosong Account Receivable Executive in Petaling Jaya

Job Summary:

The Account Receivable Executive is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function within the financial operations. This role involves managing invoicing, monitoring outstanding accounts, and ensuring timely collection of payments/cash from each outlet. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach to effectively manage receivables while maintaining positive relationships with patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoicing: Generate DN/CR and issue accurate invoices for restaurant services, including food, beverages, catering, and events, ensuring compliance with pricing and billing policies.

2. Account Monitoring: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate appropriate follow-up actions to secure outstanding payments.

3. Payment Processing: Record and reconcile payments/cash received from outlets using the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in posting transactions.

4. Collections: Proactively communicate with outlets via phone, email, or in-person to follow up on outstanding invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment arrangements. Collection of daily sales from outlet and bank in to respective bank account.

5. Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger, bank account, credit card and e-wallet with general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

6. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and collection activities for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improving cash flow and reducing outstanding balances.

7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices to optimize revenue collection and minimize bad debts.

8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable management, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial data.

9. Documentation: Maintain organized records and documentation of accounts receivable transactions, correspondence with customers, and collection efforts, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

2. Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.

3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, billing procedures, and revenue recognition standards.

4. Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

6. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

7. Knowledge of restaurant billing practices, POS systems, and industry-specific regulations is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
