Jawatan Kosong Site Supervisor Housing Construction - Civil in Semenyih

Site Supervisor (Civil) - Selangor & Negeri Sembilan

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor (Civil) to oversee daily construction activities for landed residential projects. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Construction Works

• Supervise and monitor daily civil and structural construction activities on site.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved construction drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor works including earthwork, excavation, foundation, piling, drainage, sewerage, roadwork, concrete works, masonry and other related civil works.
• Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, workers, suppliers and other site personnel.
• Ensure sufficient manpower, materials, machinery and equipment are available for site activities.

2. Quality Control

• Monitor workmanship and ensure construction works meet required quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify defective or non-compliant works.
• Coordinate inspection and rectification works with subcontractors.
• Ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved specifications.
• Assist the Project Engineer / Site Engineer in inspection and testing activities.

3. Progress Monitoring

• Monitor daily construction progress against the approved project schedule.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates and work records.
• Highlight delays, site issues and potential problems to the Project Manager / Site Engineer.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure works are completed according to the planned timeline.

4. Drawing & Documentation

• Read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out based on the latest approved drawings.
• Monitor site dimensions, levels, setting-out and construction details.
• Maintain proper records of site instructions, inspection requests, material deliveries and site activities.

5. Safety & Site Management

• Ensure all workers and subcontractors comply with site safety requirements.
• Monitor housekeeping and maintain a safe and organized construction site.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents and potential hazards to the relevant personnel.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with applicable safety requirements.

6. Coordination

• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, architects, subcontractors and suppliers on site matters.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on construction progress and issues.
• Coordinate work sequences between different trades to avoid delays and clashes.
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues.

Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant site supervision experience, preferably in landed residential construction.
• Experience in supervising housing, bungalow, terrace house or residential development projects is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand Civil & Structural drawings.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.
• Able to supervise subcontractors and workers effectively.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
• Willing to work on construction sites and work overtime when required.
• CIDB Green Card is required.
• Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
