Jawatan Kosong CMM Technician in Perai

Overall Job Responsibility

The CMM Technician is responsible for performing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming, dimensional inspection, measurement analysis, and metrology support to ensure products comply with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality requirements. The role supports production, engineering validation, new product introduction (NPI), capability studies, and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

CMM Programming & Measurement

• Develop, create, modify, and maintain CMM programs for new and existing products
• Perform dimensional measurement and inspection using CMM and other measuring equipment.
• Verify product dimensions against engineering drawings and customer requirements.

Measurement Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze measurement data and prepare inspection reports.
• Review dimensional results and identify non-conformances.
• Support root cause investigation related to dimensional and quality issues.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of measurement data.

Engineering & Production Support

• Support Engineering Validation Builds and NPI activities.
• Assist in capability studies, GR&R studies, and process validation activities.
• Provide dimensional measurement support for production and customer requirements.
• Work closely with engineers and production teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in quality improvement projects.
• Recommend improvements to inspection methods and measurement processes.
• Support implementation of quality system requirements and best practices.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Quality Engineering, Precision Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in CMM operation, programming, dimensional inspection, or metrology.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance).

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
