Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and independent Site Supervisor to oversee daily solar PV installation activities. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate the installation team, ensure work is carried out safely and according to project specifications, and monitor work quality and progress to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily on-site solar PV installation activities.
• Lead, guide and monitor the installation team to ensure work is carried out according to instructions, drawings and project requirements.
• Monitor installation quality, workmanship and project progress.
• Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate manpower, tools and equipment to support daily site operations.
• Ensure installation works are completed within the project timeline.
• Identify and report site issues, technical difficulties or work delays promptly to the Project Engineer or Team Leader.
• Maintain good teamwork and communication among installation personnel.
• Conduct site inspections and provide regular progress updates to the management.
• Ensure the worksite is clean, organized and properly maintained.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Engineering, Construction or a related field.
• Previous experience in site supervision, construction, electrical installation or solar PV projects will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and installation procedures is an added advantage.
• Able to lead, manage and coordinate a team effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably able to communicate in Mandarin / Chinese.
• Independent, responsible, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Practical, hands-on and capable of making sound decisions when handling on-site challenges.
• Customer-oriented with a pleasant personality and positive working attitude.
• Able to think on their feet and demonstrate basic problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites within Sarawak.
• Possess a valid driving license.
