JLAND GROUP SDN BHD Job Vacancies Oktober 2026

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the Head of Planning (Pre Development) and responsible for the operations of the projects assigned and ensuring that the approved business plans are realized in accordance with the set timelines through effective coordination of multiple project teams and efficient use of resources.

2. Project Planning & Design Development:

• In charge of the project planning, design development and cost control within the allocated budget and time: Monitor design review to ensure discrepancies are minimised and in accordance with the specifications; Monitor costing to be within the design budget and the approved budget; Monitor that the timelines are within the allocated timeframe; Collaborate and coordinate meetings with technical and non-technical consultants, vendors, authorities etc.
• Output includes development proposals/papers, formulation of the project brief, project workshop, timeliness of drawings submissions and approvals, and cost plan within budget.

2. Project Pre-Development Monitoring:

• Plan and execute the overall project monitoring for the assigned projects to meet revenue targets as per the Company's Strategic Planning: Monitor and coordinate pre-development works for the project within the time and allocated budget; Identify all risks for the projects; Monitor new business/projects.
• Output includes the overall work programme, cost plan and risk management register.

3. Project Quality:

• Manage the Project quality for pre-development paperwork to comply with Standard Operating Procedures, quality, specifications and timeline: Monitor and ensure compliance with the Company's SOPs; Monitor pre-development projects' paperwork are meet quality specifications and plans.
• Output includes compliance with company ISOP for pre-development works.

4. Supply Chain and Contract Management:

• In collaboration with the Supply Chain Management Team, manage the contract management for the assigned Projects until the award of the contract within the budget, time and quality: Coordination with the Supply Chain Management Team on the tender and award of contract processes/matters; Coordination with consultants on technical drawings for all trades (clash analysis); Coordinate the quality of products to meet specifications and drawings; Coordinate and preparation of Preliminary Estimates for Construction Costs and tender documents.
• Output includes tender workshop, procurement strategy, and memo for additional scope of works for consultants.

5. Authority Liaison & Compliance:

• In charge of liaison with relevant authorities, clients and stakeholders in getting timely approvals for project proposals, technical submission and authority compliance: Liaise with authorities such as MPKu, TNB, RSAJ, IWK etc; Collaborate with clients such as the State Government, Federal Government, and Agencies such as Plan Malaysia, Invest Johor, MITI, MIDA etc.
• Output includes plan submission, development proposals, authority approvals, and supporting letters from authorities.

6. Undertakes any other tasks and assignments as directed by Management.

Qualifications & Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in property development or real estate project management, with a focus on the pre-development phase.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools, with formal project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
• Proven experience leading complex property development projects from conceptualization to pre-construction.
• Expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, specifically within the property development industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the local regulatory environment, permitting processes, and zoning laws.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay: RM11,000.00 - RM25,300.00 per month
