Jawatan Kosong QC Engineer in Kuala Lumpur

Job Requirements
Position: Project Engineer

1) Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Piping or equivalent.

2) Minimum 2 years’ working experience in engineering.

3) Candidate with working experience in project management will be added advantage.

4) Positive attitude and being a team player.

5) Good command of English and Mandarin.

6) Able to interpret and develop drawings.

7) Professional and service-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.

8) Applicants must be willing to relocate to work in Taoyuan, Taiwan, and travel to the project site anywhere in Taiwan (Taiwan company name: HUN HONG ENTERPRISE CO., LTD).

Job Descriptions

3 main job scopes:

1) Project content analysis and quotation for a new project.

2) Execution of major projects.

1) Project content analysis and quotation for the new project
a) Review the design, specification, and contract documents prepared by the customer or relevant parties.

b) Planning and value engineering.

c) Responsible for contract administration for all mechanical works, both pre and post-tender. Providing input in tender evaluation and negotiation strategy with contractors or suppliers.

d) Assist in both technical and business meetings with customers or relevant parties.

2) Execution of the major project
When a major project is acquired, assigned engineers will be in charge of the execution of the contract and fully involved in the 3 stages of the project:

a) Preliminary stage

- Prepare manpower assignment list, tools list, project schedule, etc.

- (If outstation) research for accommodation, the local vendor for services needed, etc.

b) Execution stage

- Oversee all the mechanical services installation, test, and commissioning during the construction stage.

- Delivers projects within the constraints of scope, time, and cost, to agreed levels of quality, within the organization’s governance and project management framework.

- Establish a collaborative relationship between Customer, Owner, and worker teams during project work.

- Work with cross-functional teams with members from multiple teams to succeed.

- Manage outside vendors to ensure compliance with requirements.

- Study all the project requirements and coordinate with the Customer and Owner to ensure these requirements are fulfilled. Assist the Project Manager in working cross-functional on the project.

- Assist workers in coordinating with other parties during the installation, testing, and commissioning process.

- Attend daily / weekly site meetings with all relevant contractors and consultants, to monitor site records and progress reports and address all issues if any.

- Managing elements of project delivery such as completion schedule and quality of works, reviewing progress, report any anomalies and changes of scope to the Project Manager.

- Coordinate all technical issues with Customers, Owner’s Engineer, Partners, and internal.

- Prepare engineering schedule for mechanical engineering scope of work to secure the timely issuance of project engineering documentation for the project.

- To perform any other task and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time.

c) Finishing stage

- Responsible for the complete recording of information and documents related to the projects for ease of future retrieval.

Location: Tainan / Taoyuan Contract: 1 year

Salary: NTD75,000 (14 months salary per annum) 5 working days per week

Overtime pay available Welfare:
