Junior Civil / Structural Engineer – Job Requirements

1. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 0–3 years of working experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

2. Technical Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of civil and structural engineering principles.
• Familiarity with engineering software is preferred (training will be provided):
• AutoCAD
• ETABS / STAAD / Tekla Structural Designer
• Revit or Civil 3D (advantage)
• Ability to prepare engineering drawings, simple design calculations, and technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of local standards and codes (Eurocodes, MS, BS, UBBL) is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn structural behavior, design procedures, and construction methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and interest in problem-solving.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in structural and civil design tasks under supervision of senior engineers.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, models, and reports for project deliverables.
• Support coordination with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors.
• Attend design meetings and take technical notes.
• Conduct site visits with senior engineers.
• Perform drafting, modelling, documentation, and revision work as required.

4. Soft Skills

• Strong willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to take instructions and complete tasks on time.
