Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of all public areas within the hotel to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including the lobby, corridors, lifts, public washrooms, restaurants, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, windows, glass panels, and decorative items.
• Ensure public washrooms are clean, sanitised, and replenished with necessary supplies.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish according to hotel procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure cleaning supplies are properly stored.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a professional and courteous attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
