Your Role The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market coverage within the optical industry by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships. You're expected to achieve sales and collection targets, increase customer retention, expand distribution channels, and provide market intelligence to support business growth.
Main Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Promote company products and business solutions.

• Customer Management & Collection

• Manage customer inquiries, orders, and after-sales support.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Support collection activities and maintain healthy customer accounts.

• Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Provide market feedback and competitor information.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business performance updates.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, product launches, and training activities.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Optometry, Optician, Business, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the optical industry.
• Strong business development and customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Good understanding of sales processes, collection management and market analysis.
• Comfortable for frequent travels for customer visits, business meetings, and company events.
