Jawatan Kosong Plant Manager in Kuantan

Job Description

As the Plant Manager, you will work closely with the Operation/Project Director and play a lead role to drive process optimization and continuous improvement of the plant operation.

• Oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, quality control, and resource allocation.
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Implement measures to optimize production output and minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets
• Lead and motivate a team of production staff, supervisors, and technicians.
• Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Manage inventory levels, procurement, and supply chain activities to support production requirements.
• Optimize use of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all plant operations.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track plant performance.
• Analyze production data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to achieve production goals and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with senior management on plant performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of working experience in chemical plant production and operation at the senior executive or managerial level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers, and local government authorities.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuantan, Pahang.

Working Hours: 8am - 5pm (Mon to Fri)

Working Location: Kawasan Perindustrian Gebeng, Kuantan

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
