Catering Operations Coordination

- Coordinate daily hospital catering operations including meal preparation, distribution, and service.

- Ensure timely delivery of meals to wards, units, and designated service areas.

- Monitor meal orders, dietary requirements, and special meal requests.

- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, wards, dietitians, and service teams.

Staff Supervision & Coordination

- Supervise catering assistants, trayline staff, and service crew.

- Prepare duty schedules and coordinate manpower allocation.

- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, hygiene, and performance.

- Provide guidance and ensure adherence to SOPs and service standards.

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hospital hygiene standards.

- Monitor cleanliness of food transport trolleys, tray systems, and service areas.

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and delivery of food items.

- Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Inventory & Logistics Support

- Monitor catering supplies, meal trays, disposables, and food transport equipment.

- Coordinate stock replenishment with procurement or stores department.

- Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of resources.

Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain records of meal distribution, diet changes, complaints, and service issues.

- Prepare daily/weekly catering reports for management review.

- Report operational issues, incidents, and corrective actions.
