Jawatan Kosong R&D Assistant in Shah Alam

Job Overview

• To assist the R&D Executive and R&D HOD to achieve the KPI for the R&D section/department.
• Responsible to involve and support R&D activities in preparing and dispatch of samples (external and internal customers), developing a new product or improving existing products, shelf-life monitoring and reporting.
• To assist in establish / maintaining & updating the related Standard Procedures, Work Instruction, including the analysis method, specification (recipe, ingredient list, nutritional fact).
• To train and guide Lab Technician on the job needed at the R&D Section.
• To perform checking on lab prototype records before releasing to the request parties.
• Ensure the cleanliness of in charge area and good keeping of the equipment.
• To be responsible for maintenance of laboratory instrument and carry out laboratory admin duties.
• To in charged on the circulation of documentations (recipe, PR, etc.) to relevant department
• To lead in the purchase requisition of material and issuance of GRN
• To prepare and update the monthly KPI report – Request for Testing Product Material.
• To coordinate the task for lab technician and sample preparation
• To cooperate and liaise with others Department in order to achieve the product need, sample request, trial run
• Subject for other assigned duties given by superior from time to time.
• Ensure the Product Development KPI in order and update the monthly KPI report

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• At least diploma holder in Food Technology, Product Safety, Nutrition, Health, Well Being, Food Science, Research and Development or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge in ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP and other food related Acts.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience is required for this position.
• Experience in food manufacturing, preferably in chocolate and confectionary industry.
• Able to work as team and independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
