JOB DESCRIPTION:

STRATEGIC ROLE

• Provide engineering drawing and overall technical and application support to Asia Market Unit.
• Key person responsible for Thermal products on technical support and solutions.
• Work with Bid Team on Bill of Quantity, prepare technical proposal, and tender submission for Mega Project.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Provide technical advice on Vertiv Liebert product application and selection to Asia Market Units.
• Provide engineering design and installation of Cooling product, particularly in Data Center environment and others such as Light industrial and Lab.
• Write technical proposal, design presentation and to provide engineering drawings in AutoCAD.
• Generate Bill of Quantity and technical specification for proposed design
• Maintain the drawings (soft/hard copies), catalogues, white papers, application and technical reference materials to ensure that they are updated, orderly and readily accessible.
• Exercise sense of urgency, be analytical and professional in the approach and cultivate long term customer relationship and where possible strive for win-win solutions.
• Cultivate a work approach of pro-activeness, keeping up to date the knowledge and application of company products/services and other related services, while continually pursue self/personal development by self analysis, reading, benchmarking against the best in the industry and practice.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University/College Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Major in Refrigeration, or HVAC is preferable.
• Minimum 3~5 years’ experience in related application & technical field. Experience with Data Center / CRAC units.
• Understand the Data Center Standard is added advantages (uptime, BICSI, DCDC, TIA).
• Ability to work effectively and diligently as an individual and team member.
• Computer literacy.
• Autocad design skill and CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamic) simulation skill is added advantages.
