JOB: BAKERY ASSISTANT MANAGER

Location: M.M.B Marketing Company Sdn. Bhd. (Kuching, Sarawak), Batu 5, Jalan Penrissen

JOB SCOPE / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bread Maker Supervisor to oversee our baking operations and ensure the production of high-quality bread and baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and workplace safety.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Management:

• Lead and supervise baking staff.
• Schedule tasks and monitor performance.
• Provide training and support development.

Production Oversight:

• Oversee daily bread production.
• Implement and adjust production schedules.
• Ensure quality and efficiency.

Quality Control:

• Conduct quality checks on ingredients and products.
• Maintain standards for taste and appearance.
• Enforce food safety protocols.

Inventory and Supply Management:

• Manage ingredient inventory and restocking.
• Maintain production and inventory records.
• Liaise with suppliers.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

• SPM or equivalent; culinary certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of professional baking experience.
• Supervisory experience in a bakery.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent baking skills.
