Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose

To assist in daily accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, payment processing, school fee collection follow-ups, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and statements of accounts.
• Record payments received and monitor outstanding school fees for both International and Private School divisions.
• Follow up with parents and guardians on overdue payments through calls, emails, and messaging platforms.
• Maintain records of collection efforts, payment arrangements, and parent communications.
• Prepare debtors reports and assist with account reconciliation and audits.
• Respond to parents' enquiries regarding school fees and payment matters professionally and promptly.
• Liaise with relevant departments to resolve billing discrepancies and refer long-outstanding accounts to the Finance Manager.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience in accounts receivable or finance administration is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is strongly preferred, as the school serves an international parent community, including many Chinese-speaking families from China. The ability to communicate in Mandarin is important for handling enquiries and following up on outstanding school fees.
• Organised, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.

The employee must comply with the school's Safeguarding Policy and child protection procedures, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, and promptly report any safeguarding concerns through the school's established reporting channels. All student information must be handled confidentially.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
