RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Business Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and financial models, to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Inventory Management: Define systems to manage inventory levels, analyze turnover ratios, and implement strategies to optimize inventory management practices; collaborating across entities to unlock new levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
• Financial Reporting: Own the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, conduct in-depth financial analysis evaluating company performance, and provide actionable insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Team Leadership: Grow,lead and supervise the finance team, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure both optimal performance as well as professional development of the individuals.
• Compliance: Navigate complex landscape of financial regulations and standards across geographies, ensuring the organization remains steadfastly compliant.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in a finance management role, including team and people management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels to drive outcomes
• Experience with complex organizational structures requiring consolidation of finances across entities / geographies preferred
• Background in financial planning, forecasting, and regulations around physical goods in retail and/or manufacturing industry
• Proven track record of implementing process as organizational scale and driving operational excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
