Jawatan Kosong SAFETY HEALTH OFFICER SHO in Gelang Patah

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) and other relevant Malaysian regulations.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain workplace safety and health policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments (HIRARC), and hazard identification.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety induction, training, and toolbox briefings for employees and contractors.
• Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities such as DOSH, BOMBA, and local councils when required.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and compliance reports.
• Organize emergency response drills and promote safety awareness programs.
• Monitor contractor safety compliance at site or workplace.
• Advise management on safety improvements and legal compliance matters.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Possess Green Book (Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH Malaysia).
• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years relevant working experience in construction industry.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian safety legislation and standards.
• Strong communication, reporting, and training skills.
• Able to conduct risk assessment and incident investigations.
• Computer literate (MS Office & reporting tools).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
