Jawatan Kosong Project Manager in Kota Kinabalu

a) Project Planning and Execution

• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Execute and monitor project activities to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation and progress.

b) Team Leadership and Management

• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Supervise the project team, providing technical advice and management support for effective project coordination.
• Guide team members and promptly resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

c) Budget and Cost Management

• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of resources.
• Monitor financial aspects, identify cost-saving opportunities, and address budgetary concerns.
• Collaborate with the contract management team on negotiations, implementation of contract variations, and post-contract practices, including EOT (Extension of Time), LAD (Liquidated Ascertained Damages), and final account settlements.

d) Quality Assurance and Control

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to ensure the delivery of high-quality construction projects.

e) Risk Management

• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Proactively address issues and challenges to prevent project delays and disruptions.

f) Client and Stakeholder Relations

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Provide regular project updates and communicate effectively to manage client expectations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management and/or site coordination for building projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with experience in guiding and motivating project teams.
• Strong management, leadership, and communication skills with excellent verbal and written command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Proficient in PAM contracts, contractual matters, and familiar with relevant laws, regulations, and national and industry quality management standards.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other relevant professional certifications are preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management with the ability to oversee and control project finances effectively.
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in project execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and other project management software and tools.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adapt to various competing demands.
• Proactive problem-solver focused on achieving the project's strategic goals.
• Actively seeks to maximize value and minimize waste in processes and resource management.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
