Jawatan Kosong SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER in Subang Jaya

WANZAR GROUP SDN BHD is a company specializing in Modern Clothing. We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to lead the seasonal development of our collections. You will be responsible for managing the full design process from concept to production, ensuring innovative and high-quality fashion products aligned with the brand's identity.

Responsibilities:

1. Creative Direction & Collection Development

• Lead the ideation, design, and development of seasonal collections from concept to final sample.
• Conduct trend forecasting and market research to ensure designs are current, relevant, and commercially appealing.
• Develop design themes, mood boards, and color palettes aligned with the brand identity.
• Present design concepts and collection direction to management or creative team.

2. Technical Design & Product Development

• Create detailed technical drawings, measurement specs, and construction guidelines.
• Work closely with pattern makers and sample teams to develop and refine prototypes.
• Conduct fitting sessions and give feedback for revisions and improvements.
• Ensure high standards of fabric selection, construction, and finishing.

3. Fashion team & Collaboration

• Guide and mentor junior designers or interns, providing creative and technical support.
• Collaborate with the merchandising, production, and marketing teams to align on timelines, pricing, and launch schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers on fabric sourcing, trims, and sample timelines

4. Quality Control & Trend Monitoring

• Review final samples and pre-production pieces to ensure quality and consistency.
• Stay updated on global fashion trends, textile innovations, and customer insights.
• Evaluate past bestsellers and customer feedback to improve future designs.

5. Photoshoot & Campaign Support

• Support styling for catalogue, campaigns, and content.
• Provide creative input for product shoots, visual merchandising, and launch events.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing an Advanced/Higher/Graduate OR Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design/ Textile / Merchandising or equivalent.
• Has minimum 4 years and above working experience with the related field.
• Passion in the fashion industry and keep update of current trends.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Required Skills: Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Possess own transport.
• Ability to remain focused and productive under pressure, especially during peak seasons.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya (10-mins walking from Putra Heights LRT Station)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
