Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, supporting sales growth, and expanding the company’s business network in local and international markets.

This role is suitable for someone who is commercially minded, confident in communication, and able to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Conduct market research to identify new markets, customers, products and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, suppliers and business partners.
• Follow up on sales leads, enquiries, quotations and business proposals.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal departments to provide suitable solutions.
• Assist in developing business strategies and plans to achieve company growth targets.
• Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate with customers on business arrangements when required.
• Prepare sales reports, market updates, business proposals and presentations.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and industry developments.
• Participate in customer meetings, business discussions, exhibitions and networking activities.
• Coordinate with overseas counterparts, customers and business partners where required.
• Support management in developing new markets and expanding the company's customer base.
• Perform other business development and commercial-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, International Business or a related field.
• Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing or a related commercial role will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good business sense with the ability to identify potential opportunities.
• Able to communicate confidently with customers and business partners.
• Good command of English and Mandarin is preferred due to the company's business nature and communication with overseas counterparts/HQ in China.
• Willing to travel locally and internationally when required.
• Proactive, target-oriented, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a positive attitude are also encouraged to apply.
