Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our cabinetry products, both for local distribution and export markets. This role involves conducting inspections, implementing quality control measures, and coordinating with production teams to uphold our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of cabinetry products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform detailed measurements, visual inspections, and functional tests to identify defects or deviations from quality requirements.
• Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures, documentation, and inspection checklists to support consistent product quality.
• Train production staff on quality control techniques, standards, and procedures to promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies used in cabinetry production.
• Prepare quality reports, non-conformance reports, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality control and recommend updates to procedures as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably in the cabinetry or woodworking industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, methodologies, and tools.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality assurance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to conduct supplier audits or customer inspections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
