Jawatan Kosong PURCHASING EXECUTIVE in Kuantan

Job Description:

1. Request for quotation (RFQ) from supplier which involve with the selection of the supplier and review supplier proposal.

2. To source, analysis, quotation, negotiate prices and purchase on material, good, accessories, and consumable with local and overseas suppliers.

3. Create and issues purchase order (PO) and follow up with the suppliers after order confirmation until goods is arrived.

4. Liaise with department supervisor and supplier to maintain good inventory level of materials prior to production run.

5. Have timely submission to the account department regarding the delivery order and invoice for payment purposes.

6. To administration and coordination on monitoring purchasing activities suach as (sourcing new suppliers), negotiating (negotiate for lower pricing), purchase of goods and service for best price (process purchase requisation, purchase order and order confirmation) and monitoring quality and quantity as well timeliness of good delivered.

7. Responsible to do daily purchasing and outsourcing job for material, services, equipment, machineries and also the fixed assets.

8. Analyze market in order to assess present and future material availability.

9. Prepare the quality claim to the supplier if there are defects with good received.

10. Communicate with the transporter or forwarder in order to have smooth delivery for the goods.

11. To liaise with related government agencies and other relevant parties on all the purchasing matter.

12. To review monthly stock count report of material, good, tools and other administrative staff.

13. To liaise with contractor and other relevant parties on all the purchasing matter.

14. Cost control by preparing monthly purchasing analysis report including total and departmental purchase limit approval.

15. Develop, improve and maintain departmental procedures as per ISO 1400, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 requirement.

16. To attend all the internal and external audits as related to purchasing department.

17. Any other duties as per assigned by management.

Requirement:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Material Engineering or related field.

2. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.

3. Knowledge in purchasing, inventory and store control.

4. Minimum of 3 years' experience in relevant experience.

5. Strong analytical and negotiation skill.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
