DESIGNATION : Donor Relations & Logistics Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out all duties with honesty, punctuality, and commitment to deadlines.
• Respond to donor and customer inquiries via phone, email, voicemail, or webmail promptly, adhering to service level agreements.
• Inspire, engage, and motivate donors and customers to support the organization.
• Plan and schedule collections and deliveries effectively, liaising with logistics and processing center personnel.
• Manage the documentation for collections and deliveries (e.g., Collection Orders, Acknowledgement Receipts).
• Take and review photographs of donation items to assess their value, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
• Maintain and update the organization's website and blog as part of administrative duties.
• Assist the supervisor in organizing and executing events, potentially requiring weekend or evening involvement.
• Support the development and execution of donation, educational, and publicity campaigns to raise awareness of The Salvation Army.
• Help to attract new donors and sponsors.
• Solicit feedback from donors to improve services and enhance donor engagement.
• Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• Report any incidents, damages, or feedback promptly to the respective Supervisor or Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or donor relations is preferable.
• Basic familiarity with content management systems (CMS) or website/blog management skills to help maintain the organization's digital presence.

Duty Hours

Under normal circumstances the duty hours will be as follows:

• 5.5 days' work week / 45 hours work week
• Mondays to Fridays : 9.00 am to 6.00 pm (including 1-hour break)
• Saturdays : 8.30 am to 1.30 pm
