Kitchen HelperJob Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Kitchen Helper to support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties. The successful candidate should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as required.
• Assist with cooking and food preparation according to instructions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and floors.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Store food ingredients properly and maintain organized storage areas.
• Check and maintain kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen throughout the shift.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements

• No formal qualifications required; relevant kitchen experience is an advantage.
• Hardworking, reliable, and responsible.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
