Jawatan Kosong Account Assistant in Kota Kinabalu

Job Scope

1. Financial Records & Bookkeeping

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment records.
• Assist in updating accounting systems with daily transactions.
• Ensure accuracy of data entry into the accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or other relevant systems).

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Prepare and process supplier invoices, staff claims, and petty cash reimbursements.
• Follow up on outstanding payments from clients and monitor aging reports.
• Assist in preparing payment vouchers, cheques, and online transfers.

3. Reconciliation & Reporting

• Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash reconciliations.
• Support in preparing monthly management reports and project-related financial reports.
• Provide data and supporting documents for audits, tax submissions, and statutory filings.

4. Administrative & Support Functions

• Liaise with suppliers, project sites, and other departments on finance-related matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information.
• Provide support during monthly/year-end closing and audits.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance. Fresh graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (SQL, UBS, AutoCount, or equivalent).
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Others:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong integrity, responsibility, and time management.
• Willing to work at HQ or project site if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
