Job Descriptions

• Responsible for all aspects of the purchasing operation, including procurement, stock management, and managing cost efficiencies in line with budget expectations.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and compare their products, services, and prices.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain inventory levels.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure that purchased goods and services meet the required quality standards.
• Handle any discrepancies or issues with received products and coordinate returns or exchanges as necessary.
• Work within the allocated budget to make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Monitor spending and provide reports on procurement activities and savings achieved.
