Jawatan Kosong CIAM Operations Engineer in Kuala Lumpur

The Group IAM External Identity team enables the organization to securely store and manage external identities (e.g. customers and agents) and control their access to applications and services. They have implemented a customer identity and access management (CIAM) solution to support Prudential in this regard. It is a centralized platform to manage external identities and authentication featuring user registration, self-service account management, consent and preference management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), access management, and directory services.
Most notably, the key functions CIAM Operations Engineer will support the delivery of the following initiatives:
- Integration of enterprise business applications to group CIAM solution
- Migration of identities from legacy systems to the CIAM solution.
- Improve authentication and authorization capabilities of business applications.
- Enable single sign-on (SSO) to business applications and 3rd party services.
- Improve resiliency and enhance capabilities of the CIAM solution.
The CIAM Operations Engineer will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our external Identity solution on a full-time basis. In this role, the incumbent will ensure the integrity and availability of the solution, conduct change management activities, and work closely with application teams to support UAT activities. Below is a summary of tasks expected:
- Test new capabilities developed by engineering team and verify product updates (patches/upgrades) in UAT.
- Deploy new capabilities and platform updates in UAT and PROD (may require off working hours and standby for PROD deployments).
- Support application teams on UAT activities.
- Manage and resolve incidents and perform change management tasks (submit and close CRs).
- Monitor health and performance of CIAM solution.
- Provide on-call support outside of business hours (on-rotation).
- Escalate issues to engineering team as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years overall experience with a good understanding of the Identity and Access Management concepts
- Identity lifecycle management
- Identity data models
- Access management
- Authentication, SSO, and MFA
- Authorization
- Minimum 2 years' experience implementing and configuring ForgeRock CIAM solution.
- Experienced in any of the following:
- Java/JavaScript
- Groovy
- YAML
- XML
- RESTful APIs
- Git
- Experienced in authentication and federation technologies
- SAML
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID/OIDC
- UMA 2.0
- FIDO2
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g. Docker) highly desirable
- Experience in cloud concepts and technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP) highly desirable
- Knowledge/experience in security testing a plus
- Prior consulting experience is a plus
- Security certification(s) a plus
