Jawatan Kosong Data Center Operator in Putrajaya

Job Overview

Responsible for all duties of IT operator. Operator need to perform other operation job as well (Eg, helpdesk, Repair/setup, project and other role within same department) in the event of resources required.

Responsibilities

• IT operator visits the customer place and responds to customer requests for all kind of IT infrastructure.
• Provide installation work for IT device and software and provide guidance on how to use the product and software during onsite or regular maintenance or project
• Responsible to an understanding of the product, it is necessary to explain clearly about product characteristics and usage.
• When visiting a customer place for repair or problem-solving requesting by customer, customer are required prompt response and IT operator need to determine root cause and deal with properly.
• Responsible to create and update IT infrastructure documentation
• To monitor CCTV
• To check and detect if any water leakage at Data Centre
• To monitor Data Centre temperature and humidity
• To provide Mechanical and electrical support related to Data Centre
• To manage visitor or vendor access control to Data Centre
• To provide advice on structured cabling
• To maintain and ensure hardware asset and inventory list are updated
• Batch job monitoring and processing
• Incident escalation to appropriate parties
• To monitor all activities in data centre and ensuring visitors or vendors adhere to ISO27001/ISMS guidelines.

Requirements

• Possess Bachelor's Degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Computer or Network related Major.
• Basic knowledge on data communication such as TCP/IP protocol, IP packets and router protocol.
• Good communication and customer service skills and the ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work in a team
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Candidate must possess at least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,499.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
