Jawatan Kosong Recreation Team Leader in Putrajaya

Accountable for ensuring all recreation team members is capable and proficient in all their respective duties and day-to-day operational activities to meet with the gym/splash pool/swimming pool/recreation objectives and standards & ensure a high level of guest relations, services and communication by providing prompt and courteous service, anticipating guest needs and establishing rapport with guests. Ensure the all the swimming pool, gym, splash pool areas are clean & well maintained according to our standards.

General Duty

1. Lead and motivate team members to a level of service, which exceeds all guests expectations by facilitating teamwork and ensuring all duties are performed in a consistent manner and in the time allocated as per SOP.

2. Act in accordance with all hotel policies, human resource policies, gym policies and procedures including all Health and Sanitary regulations.

3. Provide optimum service through team members training, coaching, feedback and ensuring adequate team members levels.

4. Ensure patron’s needs are efficiently and effectively met by ensuring team member adhere to all policy and procedures.

5. At as support to all team members by performing other tasks as and when necessary.

6. Ensure that all departmental reports and correspondence are completed punctually and accurately.

7. Opens and closes the assigned areas using established procedures as needed.

8. Be familiar with all emergency procedures and ensure that all work carried out is completed in a safe and careful manner.

9. Ensure all the fire exit doors were closed at all time and the corridor fire extinguishers were in place.

10. Reports defects to Engineering department and follow up to ensure job is done.

11. Supervise that all staff are carrying out their jobs according to schedule and ensure cleanliness to the highest standard.

12. Be responsible for the proper handling and control of all housekeeping cleaning equipment’s and chemicals.

13. Read and update the logbook on job that need to be followed up.

14. Represent as an active team player with “hands-on” approach.

Pool, Splash Pool & Gym

15. Ensure that all hygiene levels are met/enough in the Gym, Swimming Pool and Splash Pool

16. Monitor products and accessories used in the Gym to ensure all budgets are achieved and adhered to.

17. Inspects gym restrooms, gym & pool surrounding, splash pool & kid’s club area and those areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.

18. Represent Recreation for briefing and communicate with other staff and supervisors regarding any operational difficulties.

19. Oversees the pool to ensure the safety & cleanliness is always maintain at all time.

20. Ensure all guest personal locker doors closed properly at all time for the security purposes.

21. Ensuring that entire area is clean and properly set up prior to the opening of the pool and ensuring guest satisfaction. This will be done by consistent walk through of the pool area to be sure that the area is kept clean. Make sure that all equipment’s in gym is in good working order and in place.

22. Any suspicious guest loitering at gym or pool side, report to security immediately.

Public Area

23. Allocate daily assignments to Public Area Attendants.

24. Takes charge of the day to day running of the Public Areas.

25. Ensures that the surrounding landscape and plants (potted or not) are well maintained by Gardeners.

26. Inspects public restrooms, lobby, hotel’s surrounding, all functions rooms, all Food and Beverage outlets, offices and back of the house and those areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.

27. Determine the need for shampooing, spring cleaning, polishing or other cleaning needed in all areas.

28. Must be well informed about all the jobs which are carried out by the Public Area Attendants.

29. Check on cleanliness of working tools and equipment.

30. Ensure that all team members know the proper usage of chemicals.

31. Knowledge of safety requirement on operating of various machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
