Job Summary

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 4-6 years. The teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development while maintaining positive relationships with parents and colleagues.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging daily lessons and learning activities.
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and rest time.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress and development.
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and assessment reports.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress, behaviour, and well-being.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment.
• Implement health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Encourage positive behaviour and guide children using appropriate classroom management techniques.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, school events, and professional development programmes.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and management to improve teaching quality and school programmes.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Principal or School Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant teaching certification (where applicable).
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a passion for early childhood education are encouraged to apply.
