Trainee Slickline Assistant

To mechanically execute and manipulate down hole tools and equipment in the of wireline / slickline to minimize oil deferment and maximize the profitability of oil and gas wells in a safe and professional manner to recognize procedures and good oilfield practices.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation, Technical, Mechanical or equivalent).
• Certificates from Technical Institutions (IKM, Polytechnic) would be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• This position requires for you to relocate to Labuan, Malaysia

Job scope. Includes but not limited to:

• Accurately record well pressure / data
• Assist Wireline / Slickline Operator in rigging up for operations
• To attend briefing / de-briefing session with Field Service Manager before and after offshore work
• Mobilize wireline / slickline units from platform to platform and platform to base in a safe and correct manner
• Assist wireline / slickline operator in maintenance works and ensure tools / inventory are functioning correctly
• To be on standby while on offshore day off for possible requirements to perform equipment maintenance or other activities at warehouse

Job Type: Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,500.00 per month
