Gordon Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd Recruitment November 2026

We are looking for a proactive and organized Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support project coordination, payment follow-ups and contract administration. The ideal candidate should have a QS background, be comfortable coordinating with different departments and external parties, and be able to follow up on outstanding matters until completion. Candidates who can communicate in Mandarin are preferred.

Key responsibilities:

• Follow up on outstanding client payments and Payment Certificates
• Monitor deadlines, pending matters and work progress, and follow up with the relevant PICs
• Coordinate between Management, QS, Accounts, Project/Site and Admin teams
• Follow up on Management instructions and provide timely status updates
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and other external parties when required
• Maintain proper records and trackers for ongoing matters
• Handle ad hoc operational and coordination tasks as assigned

About you:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or any related field
• Experience in Quantity Surveying, Contract Admin, Project Admin or similar construction-related roles
• Familiar with progress claims, Payment Certificates, Variation Orders and construction documentation.
• Strong follow-up, coordination and communication skills
• Able to understand how different tasks and departments are connected
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently
• Able to handle multiple tasks and follow through until completion

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,600.00 per month
