Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily delivery and collection routes.
• Assign suitable vehicles and drivers according to shipment volume, destination, vehicle capacity, and delivery requirements.
• Optimize delivery routes to reduce travelling time, fuel consumption, and transport costs.
• Monitor daily vehicle movements and delivery progress.
• Coordinate with drivers regarding schedules, delivery instructions, route changes, delays, breakdowns, and other operational matters.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed according to customer requirements and agreed timelines.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse and operations teams for loading, dispatch, and delivery arrangements.
• Monitor vehicle utilization and ensure available fleet resources are used efficiently.
• Arrange outsourced or additional transport when internal fleet capacity is insufficient.
• Liaise with customers, customer service, and internal departments regarding delivery status and transport issues.
• Handle urgent deliveries, rescheduling, failed deliveries, and other operational exceptions.
• Investigate delivery delays, damages, shortages, or transport-related complaints.
• Maintain accurate transport schedules, trip records, delivery documentation, and reports.
• Monitor driver productivity, mileage, fuel consumption, and transport costs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport performance reports.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, and maintenance with the relevant department.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in transport planning, logistics, fleet operations, distribution, courier, or related operations is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered for junior positions.
• Good knowledge of transportation and delivery operations.
• Able to plan routes and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using GPS tracking, Transport Management Systems (TMS), fleet management systems, or route planning software is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
