Key Responsibilities

1. App Development & Workflow Design (No-Code)

• Study and map out existing manual paper processes (e.g., harvester logbooks, mandore field notes, gate passes, weighbridge delivery tickets).
• Design, build, and test custom, user-friendly mobile micro-apps using no-code/low-code platforms (Google AppSheet, Glide, or Google Forms).
• Configure advanced settings including secure offline data entry, automatic timestamps, unique entry IDs, and photo verification capabilities.
• Establish and maintain master databases (Google Sheets/Glide Tables) ensuring error-free cross-referencing across multiple operational apps.

2. Field Deployment & Change Management

• Spend substantial time out in the fields alongside mandores, field supervisors, and lorry drivers to understand workflow realities and network limitations.
• Conduct hands-on, highly patient training sessions (primarily in Bahasa Melayu) to ensure non-tech-savvy field workers can confidently use the apps.
• Gather immediate user feedback from field trials and iterate app interfaces to maximize ease of use (e.g., introducing larger touch-targets, dropdown lists, simplified translations).

3. Data Management & Reporting

• Write and manage advanced Google Sheets formulas to calculate parameters like estimated crop tonnage, piece-rate wages, and field maintenance logs.
• Set up automated data reconciliation workflows to instantly flag discrepancies (e.g., estate dispatch weight vs. mill weighbridge ticket weight).
• Create clean data dashboards for the management team to monitor block-by-block yields and vehicle cycle times in real-time.
