About us

Kids Speak is an organization that focuses on oral presentation and public speaking skills. We raise readers, thinkers and advocates. Our clientele are students who want to acquire authentic communication skills (in English).

Hence, we are looking for teachers who are willing to work with preschool and primary school children in this area. We encourage creativity and innovation from up-and-coming as well as experienced teachers. We welcome teachers who are readers, writers, storytellers and teachers who can do more than just prepare students for exams.

Our main programmes are:

1) Kids Speak Public Speaking programme

2) Kids Speak Everyday English (KSEE)

3) KindySpeak

Working hours and remuneration are negotiable. However, classes usually take place on weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.

Qualifications & requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree (B.Ed) in TESL, TESOL, or Early Childhood Education
• 3 years’ relevant teaching experience
• Dedicated, highly motivated and passionate about teaching
• Highly proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Possesses excellent communication skills and is able to interact with students, parents as well as colleagues
• Able to plan lessons and short-term programmes
• Has the fitness and stamina to deliver lessons and teaching-related duties
• Experienced in public speaking and emceeing

Tasks & responsibilities

• Plan lessons
• Prepare materials for teaching and classroom activities
• Organize showcases (all programmes)
• Communicate with parents
• Work with the principal/team to organize events
• Storytelling (KindySpeak)
• Assess students’ proficiency (KSEE)
• Organize field trips and in-house competitions (KSEE)
• Organize PTM (KSEE)
• Keep classrooms and center tidy/clean

Pay: RM1,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
