Jawatan Kosong Manager, Production Control in Kulim

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the progress of production orders, ensuring minimal deviation from the planned volume and timelines.
• Supervise and manage work within production processes, including internal volume allocation and priority setting (machines, rework, quality).
• Act as the primary liaison between production planning, warehouse, and shipping teams.
• Implement and continuously improve intralogistics strategies.
• Manage the intralogistics functions, including tools, jigs, carriers, material flow, and intermediate storage.
• Ensure efficient use of intralogistics hardware (e.g., JIGs, racks, trolleys).
• Coordinate the dispatch of batches to various production stages, applying appropriate dispatch methods (FIFO, Due Date, Changeover Cost, etc.).
• Identify and manage production bottlenecks in a dynamic environment, implementing appropriate systems (Kanban, drum-buffer-rope, ConWip, ConLoad).
• Monitor capacity, technical availability, and delivery performance.
• Maintain and manage production steering parameters in IT/OT systems, such as SAP and MIPS.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure lead times are met.
• Work with the SCM team to monitor and manage Work In Progress (WIP) levels to meet delivery targets.
• Address potential material shortages, backlogs, and production interruptions proactively.
• Provide weekly forecasts to the SCM department regarding delivery volumes and schedules and review forecast fulfillment.
• Coordinate with technical and engineering support teams to resolve any issues impacting production.
• Attend daily production and operations meetings to ensure smooth workflow.

Working Relationships and Contact:

• Collaborate with Production, Production Planning, Warehouse and Shipping, Production Process Engineering, IT/OT teams.

EHS Responsibilities:

i. Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance for oneself and employees, following all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate guidelines.
ii. Engage employees in the process of evaluating and mitigating workplace risks.
iii. Stop work if there is reasonable belief that continuing would pose an imminent risk of serious injury or health harm to oneself or others.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
