Role Purpose

To lead catering operations function for logistic and catering uplift activities

Accountability

Accountable for the Department's operational performance, overtime budget control and food safety and security. This is to be carried out in accordance with AeroDarat Services Sdn Bhd, Regulatory Department and Customer Airlines policies, standard operating procedures (SOP) and service level agreement (SLA). This position is required to ensure all Catering staff works safely, securely, professionally, and cost- effectively while ensuring all assets are handled with care.

Key Responsibilities

• To lead and strategies overall operations and administration of the department in the most cost-effective manner (track spending against planned budget) within the approved budget through effective resources (manpower, facilities and processes) planning, management and collaboration with another department in accordance with set departmental goals.

• Establish relationships with internal and external customers on operational issues and meet their needs in accordance with SLAs, service standards and expectations.

• Formulates, implements and monitors appropriate policies and procedures to develop and improve day-to-day operations, safety, security and quality of service.

• Support and represent the Manager for documentation issuance related to Catering Services and meetings in his/her absence.

• To plan and provide the team with adequate knowledge, skills, exposure and competencies consistent with safety and security policies for their development and career progression.

• Develop and implement new/amended standard operating procedures where appropriate for any new processes/changes which conform to Ground Operating Manual and enhance staff productivity, reinforcing safety & customer service standards.

• Ensure that departmental administrative matters are managed according to departmental policy and procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in any related field with 4-5 years working experience in Airport Services or SPM with 7-8 years experience in Airport Services.

Skills & Knowledge

• Well verse in Aircraft Handling - optional (added advantage for those who have the skills)

• Highly analytical (Computer literacy) and critical in Operations requirements (managing resources and proactive thinking)

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skill
